Burnett Catchment Care Association

About

The Burnett Catchment Care Association Inc (formed in 1994) BCCA is a community run Not for Profit organisation, focused on Natural Resource Management in the Burnett and associated river systems.

The BCCA has four sub-catchment groups (North, South, East and Central) operating under an umbrella management group referred to as the BCCA Committee.

  • Recovering Elsie


    Elsie is our affectionate name for the White Throated Snapping Turtle Elseya albagula. Elsie only occurs in the Burnett, Fitzroy and Mary catchments and is under threat.
